Jennifer DeFilippo is an actress, writer, director, editor and producer in Los Angeles. She studied theatre at Loyola Marymount University, at which time she sought out the training of Los Angeles’s premiere improv comedy company & school The Groundlings. It was there that her expressive face was embraced, and she truly began to develop into the comedic actor she is today. Jennifer has appeared on multiple television shows including Dexter (Showtime), Bones (FOX), Body of Proof (ABC), Parenthood (NBC), Modern Family (ABC), Shameless (Showtime), New Girl (FOX), and most recently on Masters of Sex (Showtime). An enormous fan of Seinfeld, Jennifer had the opportunity to work with one of her favorite writer/directors, Larry Charles, on the FOX pilot Outnumbered. Jennifer has also appeared in commercials for Target, CVS Pharmacy, State Farm, Ford Fusion, and recurring in the Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt campaigns opposite John Stamos. You can currently see Jennifer “falling from heaven” in the new AT&T campaign. In addition, Jennifer co-wrote, co-starred, and produced The Hairdos that was an Official Selection at the International Television Festival in 2010.
Jennifer is also an advocate for arts and education. On the weekends you can find Jennifer teaching acting and storytelling classes to Los Angeles’s youth through her program called Tiny Tales Classes.
